Thousands of videos? Where do I start?
Our trusted content and expertise in training teachers around the world means you can take things at your own pace.
Relax, we'll start at your level.
Let's get you comfortable - this isn't a course. This is a library of items that cover the first 5 years of a typical teaching career.
How much of that do you need to know? That's up to you. How much can you choose to know? As much as you want!
There are several path options and this depends very much on what you feel the need to find. Want to watch half an hour of stuff over a week? You can do that. Want to really take education at home into your own hands? You can do that too. We don't tell you what to do (how could we?), we just help you look at different access routes and items to help the growth and improvement you want to lead.
From working with 100s of parents and 1000s of would-be teachers, we broadly think of users and viewers in terms of:
Decide your level of involvement.
We are here to help you, so treat it like finger food or a 5-course meal. There is no right way, just choose what you like or try something new, but relax and enjoy.
Key areas of our superb content has been turned into Quick Starts for parents and community educators. These are based on feedback from parents and community people in their hour of need. They sum up and align how to approach the content in the most relevant way. Every section has a personalised introduction from a Guide expert as you begin your journey:
HOME EDUCATORS - each bundle of videos has an intro telling you how to view these videos for home
COMMUNITY EDUCATORS - you get the same thing but geared to towards wider use
This the same real advice we'd give if you came to us directly. We also offer not only the pre-recorded items but live lessons each week that help you become more exposed to further ideas about educating and learner development, whatever your context.
After the Bell Rings, our live shows.
From November 2021 our live broadcasts twice a week will go in a little deeper. These are subscriber-only events where you can talk to and question our course creators, getting the answers you need to your problems.
We will also be inviting expert guests from a range of disciplines to discuss and present the latest research on teaching and learning, parenting, sociology, psychology and of course, the cornerstone to all of this: relationships.
In late 2021 into early 2022 we will be launching even more content to help you stay up-to-date:
Steiner Education (133 videos)
Montessori Education (94 videos)
International Baccalaureate (107 Videos)
